How Lucky am I..!!

This is not a question but an expression which has been waggling on my mind for the last few days and this feeling effuses in to a blog post when a day tag lines as a CHILDRENS DAY. Yes, I mean it and I’m sure that you guys won’t deny after reading this…

Last week, our company had performed an event called the FAMILY DAY, an event that dazzles with the talents of the employees, gusts out with many entertaining acts and a casual get together of all the families. It’s an evening of bliss and an event well spent at Ness. This time, there was an opportunity for us from the CSR club to perform on stage and the guys came up with a fantastical idea of portraying a message oriented concept as a stage play. This is something I want to pull for various non-disclosing reasons but I was very confident to make this happen. I usually undergo mental preparation to foresee all the problems that might hinder this act and have backup plans handy to execute. There have been stressful pre-event preparations in making this work as our stage play is made in English and our adopted kids are from a Telugu medium school. Managing the act was stupendously difficult as a lot of responsibility rested on my shoulders. Ideally it’s a great learning for me to take important decisions, layout a proper plan and make people believe that the idea behind this act is properly justified as a proper CSR act to the Management. But this journey has been an eye opener to me. I’ve seen children who are having just one dress, who are astoundingly talented yet had to compromise on food habits and the most shameful fact is that these little angels have no foot wear and travel bare foot every where they travel. A bitter reality shocked me to the core, made me obnoxious that these people deserve a better life. It saddens me when I see a group high earning individuals, sharing the same space with these worthy little darlings. It may be quite weird for you to accept the word “DARLINGS” but there are actually moments where in a child comes to me and tell me that I’m blessed because I’m a left hand writer and there is a moment when I appreciate these little tots about their contribution to the act and they say that “Anna, you did so much to us, can’t we just do what you trained us all these days!”. So much reciprocation from these little ones actually overwhelms me to my heart and soul.

And a remembrance that continues to stay in my mind all the time and this happened exactly one year from today, when I was celebrating my Children’s day with a group specially challenged kids at Sadhana Institute. I rolled into tears after my most memorable day whilst being playful to the children. In this world, oh my!! that’s a wide range of people to talk about, but if you compare the people around you, who are obsessed with greed, with deeds that lead to life destructing relations, acts that ignites the negative emotions among the society and many more feelings beyond my thoughts, there exists children who are pure in thoughts, compassionate towards everyone of us and live life just like there is always a scope and a hope of a new ray that brightens a new future. Their warmth may not give them what they need but at least make them forget current sorrows.I could have written more about them but the contemplation of the emotions swirled around that day was inexpressible. It must be your experience. I did not catch a proper sleep till I do something for these kids and my vindication turns as a Silent Auction of the paintings which these children made and got them a 20,000 INR which eventually was made into a Flour maker and great peace in my mind.

All these experiences really makes me realize the luxurious life I have and my helplessness towards these young generation who can be moulded for a better purpose. It’s just that someone’s sin or their uncontrollable desire or many reasons that aren’t possible to pen down really made us see this reality. Today a friend asked me what reason I would give her to live. After this I’m sure she is going to find her answer after this. A lot of hope is still left in this world for us to live and the moment we spend our time with these children can really make a better future for at least one child. This feeling is what you would carry all your lifetime. An emotional gulp is what we require once in a while and I hope many of us do our parts to the maxim extent possible.

Not to forget, a very Happy Children’s day to all the little budding flowers in this world. May you have all the strength to lead a path that you aspire to become!

A Girl in the City of Hyderabad

I always liked the beauty and sheer confidence of a Hyderabadi Girl. She is pure in thoughts and clear in mind when comes to the execution of her life. There are many qualities I adore and look upon when I think of her. She is an absolute trait to the Women Fraternity.
Today, for no reason, there is a thought which brushed my mind and here I am writing about her. She tickles my every breath and makes me feel lighter. This is just the same feeling when you spread your arms across while cruising over Hussainsagar in the grand Baghyanagar Boat. This girl is a lot happening at any place and anytime. At work she enthralls her colleagues with her quick wit, at home she nurses every responsibility put on her, with friends she is affectionate, at times she is very stubborn about the decision she makes or the idea she has and will not let any buffoon playing pranks with her and not to forget her temper, she keeps you circling around with her whip of anger. Her mood swings are better analogous to the weather in the city. The Unpredictable anger represents the burning high temperatures in summer. Her affection is interchangeable with the fresh rains of Monsoon. Her wit symbolizes the part of the winter which makes you chilled when you are in the shade while you get tanned when you step in the sun. This woman has a strong devotion towards god. She wouldn’t have a week rolling without thinking of him at least thrice in a day. Personal or Professional, be it any matter, in her life, it’s the god who will be posted first and later she figures out the solution all by herself and thanks god, one unique factor which distinguishes women around the world and her. You only have One Charminar in this World which represents magnificent architecture and only Woman having all such qualities.
She is outright very interested and possibly spends most of her time grooming her body with the best cosmetics, the best dresses and her scintillating accessories. Good amount of time & effort is just spent only to woo the society with her exterior looks. She has a very minute contemplation about the fact that people around care internal beauty more than anything else. The city of Hyderabad has also the similar notion when it comes portraying her beauty. No matter how many Hi-tech Cities or architectural IT parks arise, the real essence of Biryanis or Hussain Sagars or Birla Mandirs will never be lost. Her shopping interests are to die for. She has a very tiny thought of buying an item with a minimal budget ends up spending all the items in her wardrobe yet she always likes her neighbors stuff. Now she realizes she had overspent her money and calms her shopping nerves. Again there is a moment where she finds something interesting in the market, she dodges into it and later makes up a reason for us to believe that she actually requires it. I just love this part of her attitude and adore the way the reasons shape up.
The Traffic in the City is quite unpredictable and so is this woman’s response. She is clumsy like the Khairatabad traffic in the morning and is refreshing like the Necklace road drive in the evening. She is fantastic when it comes to cooking but she hates doing it. She loves going round the city for no reason and blames herself for not being able to cover the entire city after an exhausting tour. No matter how messed up you are during the day, you always have this women listening to you and will tweak your thoughts in such a way that your path towards success goes smooth. This typically reminds of the heavily loused up City Shopping malls during the weekend as they ease up during the weekday. You only smoothen your shopping by choosing the right offer at the right season.
All in all, the charisma of the Hyderabadi Women, her everlasting beauty, her impeccable heart and her affectionate behavior will always make her unique from all the women in the world. She will always be remained in the hearts of many people and I’m very glad to know many of them. This is my tribute and a salute to all my Hyderabadi Women. You are the best and you make the best out of any place you live. You truly are and will embrace everyone’s lives!! Hats off!!

Moms are Moms!

Special tribute to all the Moms in this world as it’s a special day for every one of us. Happy Mother’s Day to all the readers. I don’t think we need to specially celebrate Mother-child relation but we do owe an expression of thankfulness. I am very weak in showing my gratitude towards my mom but I don’t think it’s really necessary. I feel it’s artificial. But I know for a fact that I am there for her all the time. although it's needless to say.But why are Moms selflessly showing love and affection to their child’s?

On this special day, I’d like to share my special moments which I had with my Mom. I may not have a friend-friend kind of a relation but one shrewd observation is that many of my friends are such close to their moms! I doubt my character. I still remember the day when I was affected with Jaundice way back in 6th grade. My Mom was just alone in the whole treatment as my health was worsening with a continuous diarrhoea and a high fever. She was circling hospitals and taking care of me at home. Yet my health wouldn’t improve. I had to undergo a homeopathy medicine which is one miserable tasting leafy balls with a dose of a superstition mantra. I wouldn’t swallow the medicine as the medicine is even worse than the description I’ve made. She convinced me with all the items in my wish list and finally a very lean, ultra skeletal Kushal remains. She felt awful looking at me and a new diet was made for me. That’s is where the Skinny Kushal turns into a fatso and I still maintain the same body discipline. I did not understand her state of mind then but she really put her heart and soul in getting me recovered. While we are on this subject there is something which amazes me all the time during the whole transformation. While I was young, the lumpy Kushal was found very cute and I had my own fans who used to toy around with my fatty areas. But the same person at 24 is one miserable round object who looks unfit for many things. “It’s not me who turned fat it’s the society who perceives it different”, Kushal shouts. Yet I remain health conscious for a totally different reason.

Since we are hanging around with the same subject, after 18 years, I underwent few medical tests very recently due to a slight mess up in my metabolic system and now I urge myself to some physical exercises and a very controlled diet. My mom really has to work hard in providing me such a healthy food considering her record of the "Tasty Food"(rich cholesterol stuff) and the fact that I have never changed my body shape in the last 18 years. Now that I am working on my body now and let me share you a strange incident. My mom feels that it’s high time I need to work on my body, I have been undergoing in a complete change in my diet. Now my dinner includes only 3 oil free chapati’s with all leafy and hemoglobin rich vegetables. This has been my daily routine in the last few days and looking at it, my mom felt so sad, she would let me have more Chapati’s with a my favorite aloo curry. Although I said NO, the gesture was overwhelming to me. That's how Moms are. This is one perfect example on how moms in this world are made. That’s my confession, Moms are Moms! They are so pure, thoughtful and provide us unconditional love and affection that anyone would ever ask or expect in their life.

Moms are the Best and they would always be. I take great pride in expressing the fact. I’m sure you would agree with me as well. Wish every mother in this world a Happy Moms Day!

Thank you all folks for your time!

Love,

Kushal

Boulevard of Broken Dreams!

Am I Amicable? A Question that haunted me from the last one year and yet I have no answer. The long lasting weekends creep me out with all sorts of disgusting behavior of me and yet I am unanswered. The State of tranquility in my room bothers me a lot. I am preoccupied with thousands of questions which make me numb and outburst results nothing but an insignificant actions which eases my time. The sense of interest in my career, my Job, my health, my family, my friends is completely lost. Sometimes I even wonder how my name justifies me.

This is yet another such moment where I find myself sleepless while I try to regain my lost conscious about me. Last 12 months had moments which I think I can never forget, both the brighter and the harder. More importantly I somehow do not see any value addition. I grew reputation at work which feels satisfying sometimes but more often it never made me happy. The desire of me wanting exciting add-ons has always kept me failed at execution resulting a broken me. I wish I could pen down each and every item but I am sure there is nothing fruitful from it. I am exponentially decreasing in morals and the only thing that lifts me up every day is that a hope which I think can give a 360 degree push.

I always felt that walking down alone in your own boulevard is one phase which everyone undergoes in their life. Most of them will not even realize it as it’s something unplanned. It happens. The only people who find hard to cross this barrier always need a companionship\self motivation which boasts their character and helps you find your way to reach success. But my confused mind always asks a cowardly question. Why can’t I do it myself? I have no vision of future and no control on the present yet I’m slogging hard to cross each day. I don’t need alone time or neither I think a counselor aids my situation. I comfort myself with Time hoping something is going to change. I have no powers to show the world of what I am and neither I’m growing towards it. I disturb my metabolism as it worsens me which deprives me down further.

I am just a toy in a showcase who acts when given a key and sometimes I am not efficient as I am supposed to be. I wonder this is the worst I could be or is there something left to deteriorate. The happier moments doesn’t lift me up while the distressing moments hit me hard. The pandemonium continues as the days pass on. The External appearances I think also have a major role to play here. Perhaps that is the reason I think in my case left me alone but now I am trying hard to save what’s in my hands. I hope that the streak continues as the days pass by.

I wish I was a Selfless soul or a thoughtless body. Awaiting to regain my confidence!

Disregards and Hopeless,

Kushal

PS: This is the saddest of my writings and really appreciate if there are no questions here.
